Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use OurWorld. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Don't share your account, don't impersonate others, and use a real name or handle that you're entitled to use.

You agree NOT to use OurWorld to:

• Harass, threaten, dox, or bully anyone.
• Post hateful, violent, sexual, or illegal content.
• Spam, scam, phish, or run unauthorized advertising.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its API.
• Upload malware, or attempt to break security or RLS.
• Pretend to be someone you're not, or create fake events.

We can suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, and we cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.

You own what you post (profile, events, messages, photos). By posting it, you grant OurWorld a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display and distribute it as necessary to run the service — and only for that purpose.

You're responsible for what you post and you confirm you have the right to post it.

How we handle your personal data is covered in our Privacy Policy. By using OurWorld you also accept that policy.

You can block users, report content, and choose between Public and Friends-only visibility for your events. Reports are reviewed and may lead to content removal or account action.

OurWorld is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uptime, that the service will be error-free, or that any specific feature will always be available. We may update, change, or discontinue features.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings — this removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OurWorld is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, gross negligence or statutory consumer rights in the EU).

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
